Ukraine exported 38.5 thousand tonnes of rye in the 2017/18 marketing year, which is the highest figure over the previous four seasons, APK-inform reports.
Ukrainian grain trading company Nebulon is to invest $2 billion to build new grain silos and transportation barges in Egypt’s Nile Delta region, the Egyptian supply ministry said on Sunday.
Ukraine supplied some 1 MMT of wheat to foreign markets in May 2017/18. This was down 10% from April (1.1 MMT) but up 2% from May 2016/17 (986.8 KMT).

In the June report, USDA left unchanged its 2017/18 oilseed crop estimates for the Black Sea countries. So, the Black Sea region is predicted to produce a total 39.6 MMT of oilseeds in MY 2017/18.
Spring planting in Ukraine is drawing to an end. Smaller-than-projected areas have been planted to almost all cereals, both major and niche ones.
