Since its launch, the Ukrainian Sea Corridor has facilitated the export of 79.1 million tonnes of goods, including 52.7 million tonnes of agricultural products.

The Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority reported this on October 31, the International Black Sea Day.

"Today, on the International Black Sea Day, we emphasise the importance of free and safe navigation for the stability of world markets and food security. The Ukrainian Corridor has become a reliable channel thanks to which we supply 50 countries with Ukrainian products, despite the challenges of war.

The Black Sea is not only an economic route, but also a symbol of stability and a unifying force among nations striving for peace.

During the operation of the Ukrainian Corridor, more than 2,900 ships have passed through the corridor, exporting 52.7 million tonnes of Ukrainian agricultural products. In total, 79.1 million tonnes of goods were transported through the corridor to different parts of the world — from Africa to Asia, Europe and America. These supplies support global food security and help prevent food crises.

One of Ukraine's primary goals is to ensure free and safe navigation in accordance with the principles of the UN Charter. Free vessels traffic in the Black Sea is not only critically important for supporting Ukraine’s economy but also serves as a stabilising factor for other nations that rely on Ukrainian agricultural products.

Ukraine remains committed to international standards, ensuring a reliable route for global food supplies. The Black Sea is not only a source of economic stability, but also an example of the unification of nations in the struggle for a common goal: stability, security and support of the international community.

Today, Ukrainian port workers, seafarers and farmers work tirelessly to ensure the continuity of exports, and their resilience and dedication allow Ukraine to play a critical role in the global food arena," the state-owned enterprise declared in a statement.
