In 2024, the price per tonne of Ukrainian agricultural exports was USD 315. As of April 2025, it had increased to USD 443.

“The price per tonne of Ukrainian agricultural exports has risen 1.4 times. This was achieved by increasing exports of value-added products, particularly bioethanol,” Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Vitalii Koval emphasised.

He noted that average prices for the top five export products per tonne also increased:

  • Sunflower oil: USD 1,174, up 37.8% compared to the 2024 average of USD 852;
  • Maize: USD 217, up 27.1% compared to the 2024 average of USD 171;
  • Wheat: USD 231, up 27.4% compared to the 2024 average of USD 181;
  • Poultry meat: USD 2,385, up 11.2% compared to the 2024 average of USD 2,145;
  • Soybeans: USD 409, up 4.3% compared to the 2024 average of USD 392.

“Since the start of the year, Ukraine’s agricultural exports have totalled USD 1.1 billion, or 2.5 million tonnes. The Ministry continues to work on diversifying markets and expanding the export potential of the processing industry,” the Minister stressed.
