In 2016, exports of sugar amounted to 465.9 thousand tonnes, hitting record figures over the whole history of Ukraine's independence, the press service of the Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry reports.
Agricultural company Nibulon, which is the member of Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation, harvested over 340,000 tonnes of agricultural crops in 2016, and this is 10% more than in 2015. According to a posting on the company's website, this is the largest harvest in the history of the company.
