EIB funding will contribute to upgrade the infrastructure of agriculture, a strategic economic sector of the country generating some 20% of Ukraine’s GDP and a significant source of employment for 14 million of the Ukraine’s citizens living in rural areas.
The President of Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation Leonid Kozachenko has presented the results of the research about effectiveness of agribusiness in Ukraine. The research has been presented during the conference "Agribusiness in Ukraine. The concept of the world championship" at the exhibition "Agrocomplex-2017 ".

Nibulon Company has opened a new terminal for grain and oilseeds in the village of Bilenke near Zaporizhzhya, construction of which cost UAH 500 million. The Director General of Nibulon, Olexiy Vadatursky, reported that terminal had been built in 100 days, starting from March 10, while funds for the project were allocated by the European Investment Bank.
