At the end of June, NIBULON’s General Director, Hero of Ukraine Oleksiy Vadaturskyy announced the acquisition of the company’s own hopper cars.
For the first quarter of 2019 consolidated revenues of the Astarta grew by 28% to EUR 116 million y-o-yon back of solid performance by the agriculture and the soybean processing segments.
During January-April 2019 Ukrainian producers of honey have exported 17.5 thousand tons of honey and have got $32.3 mln. The quantity of trade has increased at 35.85% in comparison with the same period of 2018. The main consumers were Germany (26.64% in the export structure), Belgium (20.15%) and Poland (12.76%).
During January-March 2019 Ukraine has exported 2.4 thousand MT of frozen vegetables which is 3,7% less than in January-March 2018. At that time, Ukrainian import has increased by 7,9% and reached 2.99 thousand MT.
Each year Ukraine has more and more harvest of walnuts. This helps our country to become one of the largest walnut producers. There are several reasons for this. First of all, production of walnuts is transformed from household to industrial productions. That is characterized by increasing of industry walnuts tree area. The next reason is the active government support.
As of January 1, 2019, the number of private farms in Ukraine decreased by 0.9% from the previous year, according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.

The pace of corn exports from Ukraine continues quickening. In February, the country shipped abroad a record corn volume for that month (3.7 MMT) and the greatest monthly volume since December 2013/14, reports UkrAgroConsult.
The current season features a record gain in rye supplies from Ukraine. So, the country exported 85.1 KMT of rye in July-January 2018/19 that is already 123% more than in the whole of MY 2017/18 (38.2 KMT) and the largest volume since MY 2002/03, reports UkrAgroConsult.
