Ukraine: Vector Oil Trade to become liquidated

The economic court of Odessa oblast (Ukraine) issued the decree and started the procedure for liquidation of recognition the bankruptcy of Vector Oil Trade Ltd. and Vector Oil Agroinvestments Ltd. (Odessa).

According to the official announcement, the court will accept claims of creditors during thirty days from the day of the official promulgation (December 31, 2009).

The group of companies Vector Oil Trade was founded in 1996 through the merging of large-scale suppliers and traders, and became one of the largest suppliers of agricultural products in Ukraine. Wholesale purchasing of agricultural products with the average volumes of 150-170 thsd tonnes in the seasonal period and exporting to far-abroad countries were the main varieties of business activities of the company.

The group provided shipment of agricultural products in Odessa sea trading port, Illichevsk sea fishing port and Nykholaevsk sea trading port, including own shipment complexes.

In 2008, the net income of Vector Oil Trade totaled 115.46 mln UAH, Vector Oil Agroinvestments – 29.25 mln UAH.
