Ukraine sowed winter grains throughout 7.6 mln ha

As of October 23 of the current year, Ukraine sowed winter grains throughout 7.6 mln ha (97% from the forecasted areas), which nearly corresponds to the previous year level, declared the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.

According to the Ministry, as of October 22, agrarians received seedlings of winter grains throughout 5.4 mln ha (73%).

As of October 23, agricultural economies sowed winter rapeseed throughout 1.35 mln ha, an increase of 7% compared to the forecasted indices.

Agricultural enterprises stocked 336.5 thsd tonnes of reactant of mineral fertilizers, which totaled 85% of the required volumes, 22.6 thsd tonnes of plant protectors (18%).
