Ukraine: Crimea increased prices for agricultural products by 1.3%

During January-July of 2009, the general volumes of sold agricultural products, made by agricultural enterprises of the Crimea (Ukraine), increased by 6.9% compared to the same period of 2008, declared the Main department of statistics of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

According to the announcement, the volumes of sales of plant growing products grew by 13.4%. The average sale prices of agrarian products from agricultural enterprises of the Crimea increased by 1.3% compared to January-July of 2008, but the prices for plant growing products decreased by 11.6%. During January-July of 2009, the volumes of agricultural production of all varieties of agricultural enterprises of the Crimea increased by 5.5% compared to the same period of 2008.
