Wheat reserves in Ukraine amount to 7 MT

Wheat reserves at processing and storing enterprises as of February 1, 2018 amounted to 7.24 million tons, which is 259.4 thousand tons more than the corresponding indicator in 2017 — 6.99 million tons.

The data of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine shows that the highest stocks of wheat are at the enterprises of Odessa (716.4 thousand tons), Nikolaev (647.9 thousand tons) and Kharkiv (552.1 thousand tons) regions.

The lowest stocks of wheat are at the enterprises of Rivne (99,7 thousand tons), Chernivtsi (43.7 thousand tons) and Zakarpattia (1 thousand tons) regions.

Earlier it was reported that Ukraine from the beginning of 2017/18 as of February 21, 2018 exported 25.88 million tons of grains, which is 2.61 million tons less than over the same period last year.
