Ukrainian Speaker cannot accept sale of land to foreigners

     Mr Lytvyn said that the issue of selling land to foreigners has to be solved immediately. He said that in his opinion, simultaneously with opening the land market someone will try to legalize their actual land holdings collected illegally under the moratorium. He also said that the issue of land sales is not of the top priority, because theer are other pressing urgent issues, such as total land inventory, valuation, establishment of state land bank and state land cadastre.

     According to Mr Lytvyn, owners of land shares shall have the right to dispose of their land possessions, but only through the land bank which would decide  upon the future use of land and probable owners (ML: earlier Mr Lytvyn said that land bank shall lease out land).
