Ukraine lifted the moratorium on inspections of businesses selling products

A large-scale audit of products sold in Ukraine, conducted by the state service of Ukraine on food safety and consumer protection, said the head of Department Vladimir Lapa, misleading April 5, the "Ukrainian news".

According to him, rospotrebsoyuz of Ukraine began checking businesses that sell food products. This became possible due to the fact that this business was removed from the scope of the moratorium on inspections of business activities.

Also rospotrebsoyuz was among the bodies which can ignore the moratorium on business inspections. The results of the audits will be known by April 10 and will be released in the first quarter.

We will remind, in Ukraine the moratorium on inspections of businesses with ever since came to power Ukrainian nationalists in 2014 as a result of the coup. The moratorium has led to the fact that across the country, spreading the virus of African swine fever (ASF), which led to serious damage.

Also in 2017 there were a lot of cases the citizens of Ukraine botulism due to eating poor quality fish, bought in conventional stores.
