Ukraine increased the exports of flaxseed

According to the official statistics figures, in 2015/16 MY (September-August) Ukraine exported nearly 42 thsd tonnes of flaxseed, an increase of 65% compared with 2014/15 MY (25.4 thsd tonnes), which became the maximum index for nine recent seasons.

In 2015/16 MY, Vietnam (51%), Egypt (13%) and Turkey (9%) became the largest countries-importers of Ukrainian flaxseed. As a reminder, in 2014/15 MY the TOP-3 of importers included Vietnam (32%), Poland (15%) and Egypt (9%).
