Ukraine broke a record in the exports of high-oleic sunflower oil

According to the statistics figures, during the first 7 months of the current season (September 2016 - March 2017) Ukraine exported 80.7 thsd tonnes of high-oleic sunflower oil, an increase of 4% compared with the figures for whole 2015/16 MY, and up 32% compared with 2014/15 MY.

In the current season, the EU countries became the main buyers of Ukrainian high-oleic sunflower oil, and purchased nearly 63% of the general supplies of the product in the reporting period. At the same time, only the USA and Estonia realized monthly purchases of high-oleic sunflower oil, while the remaining countries-importers purchased the product in situational manner.
