248 criminal proceedings covering 432 episodes are being investigated for the facts of shelling of grain infrastructure and seizure of other objects by the Russian army. The prosecutor general of Ukraine Andrii Kostin told about this during the telethon.

Prosecutor General and Head of Investigations of International Crimes Committed in Ukraine from the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Brenda Hollis, inspected the sites of Russian shelling in Odesa, including port infrastructure facilities. Also, this week, the ICC team visited Kharkiv Oblast and Sumy Oblast.

According to Andrii Kostin, 21 massive attacks on port and agricultural infrastructure were recorded in Odesa and Odesa Oblast alone, as a result of which 6 people died and 30 were injured. It is not only about attacks on large ports, such as those in Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi. Virtually all ports of the Black Sea-Danube basin — Reni, Izmail, Ust-Dunaisk and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi — were attacked. As a result of these shellings, in particular, the stability of the supply of grain products from Ukraine under our obligations was put at risk.

Kostin added that since the beginning of Russia's full-scale aggression against Ukraine, 299 incidents of shelling of civilian and critical infrastructure facilities in the city of Odesa and Odesa region have been documented and investigated.

"It is very important that the ICC team, which is permanently located in Ukraine, goes to the places where war crimes are committed, and communicates both with the victims and with teams of investigators, prosecutors, with representatives of state authorities, enterprises that also suffer from these attacks.

We have a common understanding that attacks on grain infrastructure took place at absolutely all ports of the Black Sea region — this indicates the systematic nature of Russia's attack on the world's grain security," the Prosecutor General stressed.
