Ukraine hopes to revise tariffs for the supply of sugar in the framework of the Free Trade Area (FTA) of the CIS . This declared Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Prysyazhnyuk at a press briefing after a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

"Ukraine is once again raised the issue of sugar to within a Free Trade Area (with CIS) does not guess exemptions and exclusions in the supply of sugar," - said Prysiazhnyuk.

The Draft Law No. 8053 (hereinafter – the Draft Law) sets forth that commodities subject to state price regulation (wheat, corn, barley, etc.; sunflower and rape seeds; wheat and rye flour; granulated sugar, cattle and poultry meat; dry milk; butter; sunflower seeds oil) shall be exported only by the agricultural producers of the listed commodities in the volume of their own production and state agent that provides of export of subjects of state price regulation.

Украинцы массово скупают сахар

Практически во всех регионах Украины в магазинах стал пропадать сахар. Еще совсем недавно на рынках сахарный песок раскупали мешками. Причины такого ажиотажа ни покупатели, ни продавцы объяснить не могут. Что же происходит?

На мировых рынках цена на сахар достигла максимума за последние 29 лет. В Лондоне 20 января за тонну песка просили 759 гривен. Причины - мировой неурожай, как следствие - дефицит.
