In January-March of 2016, revenues from the exports of Ukrainian agricultural products to the European Union totaled 1.2 bln USD, an increase of 15.3% compared with the same period in the previous year, declared the Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Vladyslava Rutytska on April 25.
Also, the Deputy Minister noted that the imports of agricultural products from the EU increased, but did not reach such significant indices. As a reminder, in 2015 the exports of agricultural products from Ukraine totaled 14.6 bln USD, which exceeded the record imports at 11.1 bln USD. At the same time, Ukraine shipped 45% of agricultural products to Asian countries, 28.2% - to Europe, 13.6% - to Africa, and 10% - to the CIS countries.
