The volume of trade between Ukraine and Turkey is increasing annually by 20%, and it can reach $4 billion in 2018.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko stated this while speaking at Istanbul University, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"The trade between our countries is growing annually by 20%, and we hope that it will finally reach $4 billion in 2018," the head of state said.
In addition, according to the president, every year the number of Ukrainian tourists who come to Turkey also increases by 20%, and this year it can total from 1.3 million to 1.5 million.
At the same time, Poroshenko recalled that the citizens of Ukraine and Turkey could make mutual trips without visas and with ID cards.
As reported, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on November 3-4 is on an official visit to Turkey, where he will take part in a meeting of the High-Level Strategic Council and hold talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
