Russian invaders attacked Mykolaiv on the night of October 17 with the help of kamikaze drones*. As a result of the impact, the tanks with sunflower oil were damaged and caught fire.
This was reported by the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.
According to the local newspaper "Novosti-N", two containers with oil were damaged on the territory of the enterprise in Mykolaiv. Each of them could contain up to 7,500 tons of oil. As a result of the fire and explosions, sunflower oil spilled over the territory of the enterprise and flowed through the streets. The liquid was flowing into the city's storm sewer.
In addition, the Berezneguvatska community came under fire at night. An agricultural enterprise was hit. There are no casualties.
"For the second time, the Russian Nazis hit [sunflower] oil containers of one of the leading exporters of sunflower oil of Ukraine. 17% of the world export of this product passes through this terminal in the city of Mykolaiv. The enemy continues their policy of aggression against the whole of the world, inflicting similar strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the agricultural sector of our economy.
Last time, the enterprise was attacked by a cruise missile. This time – by kamikaze drones.
Now, the situation near the enterprise is difficult, due to the amount of oil leaking into the street. Firefighters fought the flames for several hours," wrote Dmytro Pletenchuk, press officer of the Mykolaiv Oblast Military Administration, on Facebook.
