NIBULON started reformation of agricultural production

Given the impact of the war on the production cost, the increase in logistics and other expenses, what affects profitability and is not balanced by the price of grain on the global markets, NIBULON revise operation technologies.

After making thorough analysis, a decision to implement a set of reformation, which will help to increase efficiency and profitability of the business, was made.

The changes will affect 4 major areas, namely: the structure of the division as itself both in the central office and on the regional level, the sowing area’s structures, modernization of the technological production processes (radical changes of the production technologies) and increasing of the qualification of the employees.

Thus, 12 production branches of NIBULON will be combined in 4 clusters: Mykolaiv, Cherkasy, Center and Kamianets-Podilskyi. The process of clusterization has aim to optimize using of the resources, thanks to centralization of the part of the processes, e.g. purchasing, decreasing of administrative load on the branches.

Besides that, after making thorough analysis the optimization will affect the sowing area’s structure, which become more balanced, comprehensive and homogeneous on the region level. The management of the agricultural department intend to place stake on traditional crops with regard to regional specifics, which allow us to increase harvesting capacity all around the company. In Mykoliav region, e.g. two traditional crops - wheat and rapeseed - will be grown. In other regions, the focus will be on corn and sunflower. For some branches, which have unique expertise in soybeans cultivation are considering the possibility of the planting increasing of this crop as an alternative to sunflower.

The drivers of the production processes modernization will be transformation of the machinery park and using of the modern methods of the soil ploughing, decreasing the quantity of technological operations, application of the elements of precision farming. This will allow to increase the speed of carrying out the field works, to increase productivity, minimize the logistic chains and reduce the fuel costs and other resources. The business is also expecting a large-scale automatization of processes, which will cover the wide range of the issues from accounting for agricultural production to resources usage control.

Also, the company will pay closer attention to increase of the qualification level of the employees from the business. NIBULON plans to introduce the system of the assessment of knowledge, development programs and update motivation system, which will allow our colleagues to increase their income level, qualification and market value as specialists.
