High quality of sunflower oil to allow Ukraine to keep leading positions on the world market

According to data of APK-Inform Agency, in 2008/09 MY, Ukraine supplied over 2 mln tonnes of sunflower oil on export markets, an increase of 700 thsd tonnes compared to the index of the previous season, which became the absolute record for the country.

Thus, to date Ukraine takes the place of the leading world exporter of sunflower oil. Both quantitative and qualitative indices will influence on keeping of the leadership in the future.

Tatyana Bevzuk, the chief engineer of the association "Ukroliyaprom", will cover the issue of the quality of Ukrainian sunflower oil in the report named “Maintenance of competitive capacity of the fat-and-oil complex”, during the eighth international conference “Fat-and-oil industry – 2009”, taking place in Truskavets (health resort complex "Rixos-Prykarpattya") on November 25-27.
