Almost 5.7 million hectares of winter crops have been sown in Ukraine

As of the second week of November, Ukrainian farmers sowed almost 5.7 million hectares of winter crops: cereals - 4,514.2 thousand hectares, of which wheat - 3,968 thousand hectares, barley - 469 thousand hectares, rye - 77 thousand hectares. 1,151 thousand ha of winter rapeseed were sown.

Eight oblasts of Ukraine have fully completed the sowing of winter crops, and the sowing campaign In other regions is steadily coming to an end. In most regions, agricultural producers have already sown more than 90% of winter crops from the forecast.

The increase in the sowing of winter cereals per week is 128.5 thousand hectares. We remind you that winter rapeseed sowing has been completed in all regions.
