The experts of USAID’s Agriculture and Rural Development Support Program for Ukraine have elaborated the concept of a roadmap to adjust processing and distributing of agricultural products produced in Donetsk and Luhansk regions and adjacent areas of Zaporizhzhia region.

Expert on rural business development at the USAID’s Agriculture and Rural Development Support Program Vladyslav Karpenko said this during a round table, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"In our opinion, the main emphasis in the development of road map and the definition of subsequent activities should be laid on combining the efforts of both authorities and small and medium-sized enterprises, including owner-operated farm and united territorial communities," Karpenko said.

According to the expert, the main goal of the USAID road map is to improve the value chains for agricultural products produced in Donetsk and Luhansk regions and the adjacent areas of Zaporizhzhia region. According to Karpenko, this primarily concerns production of milk, meat, vegetables and fruits.
