Ukrainian-German Dairy Forum

Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation argues that the global demand for dairy products today is much larger than supply, thus Ukrainian producers have a real chance to occupy substantial niche of this global dairy market.

Pursuing fruitful discussion on determination and consideration of significant factors of Ukrainian dairy sector’s competitiveness and its further intensive development issues UAC is going to organize Ukrainian-German Forum of milk producers and processors, where we expect to gather Ukrainian and foreign experts, potential investors, dairy industry representatives, officials, scientists and other interested parties of the sector. We look forward to more than 150 participants will attend the Forum in general.

It is necessary to mention, that conferees will be able to choose one of two working sessions of the Forum: either “Dairy sector of Ukraine comparing to European and Global sectors – competitiveness aspects” or “Investment into “supply chains” – appearance of latent potential”.

In particular, actual issues will be discussed there: “Ukrainian milk branch – strengths and weaknesses” (by Lidia Karpenko the President of Milk Processing Enterprises Union); “Global tendencies of dairy sector – location benefits. The most essential factors of manufacturing location” (by Folkard Izermaer, Federal R&D Center for Agriculture of Germany); “The factors of competitiveness of the branch – Ukrainian point of view” (by Gennady Samohvalov the General Director of “Lustdorf” LLC); “Investment into supply chains improvement – investment capacity of Ukraine” (by Holger Brukner, “WestfaliaSiorge Ukraina” LLC) etc.

Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation invites all interested parties to participate Ukrainian-German Dairy Forum. It starts on 19 July 2007 at 10 a. m. at the “Bears-Center” (Kyiv, Popudrenko str. 52).
