Ukraine has increased export and import of natural honey

During January-April 2019 Ukrainian producers of honey have exported 17.5 thousand tons of honey and have got $32.3 mln. The quantity of trade has increased at 35.85% in comparison with the same period of 2018. The main consumers were Germany (26.64% in the export structure), Belgium (20.15%) and Poland (12.76%).

It is mentioned by UAC according to the State Statistic Service of Ukraine.

At the same time. Ukrainian import of honey grew 2.3 times and amounted to 21 tons or $43 thousand in the currency equivalent. The main supplier of honey was Denmark (95.35% in the import structure).
