Barley stocks 25.5% lower than last year

According to the State Statistics Committee, cereal and pulse stocks in Ukraine totaled 19.03 MMT as of March 1, 2018, i.e. 0.9% less than on the same date last year (19.21 MMT).

At the same time, wheat stocks were up 3.4% year-on-year at 6.25 MMT against 6.05 MMT recorded as of March 1, 2017. Barley stocks were down 25.5% at some 1.18 MMT (1.59 MMT in March 2017).

Corn inventories lowered too. They totaled 10.56 MMT as of the reporting date, i.e. 0.5% less than last year (10.61 MMT).
