Rapeseed stocks as of early August up at 1.3 MMT

According to current information of the State Statistics Service, sunseed stocks in Ukraine totaled 678.3 KMT as of August 1, 2018 that is down 7% from the same date last year (729.4 KMT). This included 426.9 KMT held on farms (down 43.9 KMT, or 11.5% from August 1, 2017) and 251.4 KMT at storage and processing facilities (down 95 KMT, or 27.4% on the year), reports UkrAgroConsult.

As of August 1, 2018, crusher soybean stocks were down 55.6% year-on-year at 60.2 KMT against 135.7 KMT on August 1, 2017. Rapeseed stocks as of the reporting date were much higher than a year ago (1276.5 KMT against 988.4 KMT, respectively) due to an earlier start of this year’s harvest.
