Ukraine increased exports of linseed products this season

According to the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, the country exported 5 KMT of linseed cake in the first five months of the current 2017/18 season, up 70% from the three-year average.

The top importer of Ukrainian linseed cake is Italy, which accounts for 38% of its total exports, reports UkrAgroConsult. [2]

Linseed oil shipments totaled 3.6 KMT, exceeding the three-year average by 86%. The top buyer of Ukrainian products in this segment is India. It imported 1.6 KMT of linseed oil from Ukraine in the first five months of MY 2017/18, i.e. 1.5 times as much as a year ago.
